Grin and Bear It

A friend of mine mentioned to me the other day that he read if you smile while you are running, you are able to run longer distances.  Not that I don’t believe everything I hear, I did decide to check this statement out before setting off on a run with a silly smile pasted on my face.  Here are some of the things I found out about smiling:

We are part of a naturally smiling species, that we can use our smiling powers to positively impact almost any social situation, and that smiling is really good for us.

Smiles, they’re beautiful and free.  Give one to everyone around you. A smile can never run out of style and they are the best things one can ever wear.

Smiles create an infinite impact on people and life in general. A smile given to the right person at the right time could influence what that person does next and the choices they make.

Smiles have the power to break down the cold walls of indifference and warm a lonely heart that’s blue. Discover one of life’s most constructive weapons ~ the power of your smile.

Keeping relaxed and loose while running will definitely help your distance.  So smile. It is pretty hard to be tense while you’re smiling.
