The weather is warm and the grass is green and that can only mean one thing in Midcoast Maine ~ mud season is OVER!! Memorial Day weekend is fast approaching, and if you were thinking about doing something just a bit more productive than watching the parade (don’t get me wrong, if you aren’t marching in one you should be watching one) then you might be in the market (get it ~ remember I sell real estate ~) for some lawn or garden improvement ideas. Check out this link from House Logic and the 5 “awesomely” easy landscaping projects ~ http://bit.ly/19WzNo4
I get it, too much work, right? Just want the parade info? The Topsham/Brunswick parade is scheduled to begin about 8:30, Bath has a Memorial Day parade beginning at 10:30 (so you could see both) and both towns have other events scheduled for the day ~ http://bit.ly/10QEqvV
If it’s really nice, I’d go with the beach option ~ Reid State Park in Georgetown or Popham Beach State Park in Phippsburg are great choices ~ if you don’t mind the 50 degree water temps!
Whatever you’re planning ~ have a safe and happy holiday here in Midcoast Maine!
